Clinical Studies

Digexin is backed by two double blind placebo controlled human studies as well as open label and placebo comparison studies with results showing improved digestion and enhanced mood. These are benefits that users can experience directly, offering genuine relief and improvements in their daily lives.

Study 1

Our first published human study highlighted a notable decrease in constipation symptoms after just 7 days, with participants experiencing improved bowel function and faster gastrointestinal transit. Significant improvements were observed in constipation symptoms, gastrointestinal function, bowel clearance, stress, sleep, and quality of life. Importantly, Digexin significantly enhanced mental health, improving sleep quality and reducing depression and anxiety symptoms.

Study 2

In our second published human study, Digexin's enhanced benefits for both digestive and mental wellness were verified while also demonstrating a brain-to-gut mechanism of action. Significant new findings were documented in improved gastrointestinal transit time as well as notable improvements in sleep quality, reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety, and significant changes in serum biomarkers. Digexin improved both the symptoms of constipation, including reflux, indigestion, bloating, and constipation, and also the non-GI factors associated with GI functions, including stress, mood, and sleep.

Transit Time

By enhancing the speed and efficiency of digestion, Digexin ensures better movement and absorption of nutrients, leading to optimal gastrointestinal health. One of our main ingredients, Ashwaganda, also known as Winter Cherry, helps the body increase serotonin production which then stimulates peristalsis—the movement of food through the digestive tract. Using the Blue Poo test*,  participants saw a significant reduction in transit time!
